We understand that as an expectant mother you will have many questions about the coronavirus. We will try to answer some of those questions on this page.
ZiNkraamzorg will continue to provide maternity care and to assist during deliveries. However, we will not allow maternity nurses with coronavirus symptoms to work. It may therefore be necessary to implement a 'peak policy' in some regions. The available maternity nurses will then be shared as well as possible across the families requiring maternity care.
ZiNkraamzorg follows the guidelines issued by the RIVM (National Institute for Public Health and the Environment) and the GGD (Area Health Authority). Furthermore, as an organisation offering maternity care we believe it is our social responsibility to prevent further spread of the virus. We have therefore taken various measures ourselves, to enable us to minimise the risk of infection while ensuring the continuity of all essential processes. These measures are as follows:
If any of our maternity nurses has been in contact with anyone who has or is suspected of having contracted the coronavirus, or they themselves have any coronavirus symptoms, then they will be excluded from providing care.
Visitors after the birth
It is allowed to invite visiters during the your maternity period. Please aks your visitors to keep as much distance as possible (1.5 metres) whenever they can. And also ask your visitors to visit when our maternity nurse is not working.
